First Valentine's Day

So far the day has gone well! The kiddies and I have been together all day and now we are waiting for daddy to get off so that he can take us out to dinner. Most people probably would never take two four month olds out to a restaurant, but they are very good (so good, you would think that I was making this up). As you can imagine, we get alot of stares and people love to say, "God bless you"! Its really not that bad having two. I actually love it! I can't imagine it any other way.

Growing Fast Continued

Mateo on the left and Mathieu on the right
I love the faces that they make!

Mathieu lights me up everyday with this smile, he is such a happy baby!

Mathieu was surprised when mommy started up with his new rattle! His expression is priceless!

Growing Fast!

Mateo and Mathieu had their four month check-up today. Everything is going good with them. Mateo is 10 pounds 8 ounces, 22 inches and Mathieu is 8 pounds 14 ounces, 21 inches. They are in a good range considering that they were preemies. Mathieu is a little bit smaller than Mateo (he was sick for a while back in October and had to transferred to Children's Hospital due to an infection in his intestines). He probably would be the same size as Mateo if he hadn't been sick. They are both making attempts to rollover and are scooting as if they are trying to crawl. It cracks me up because they are so serious about making it happen. I am sure that they will get it in the coming months. Here are a few pictures of them holding their heads up, smiling and other things. This first set is of Mateo (I think)!

Double Blessing

I can't believe that I am finally a mom again. After losing a child last year, I never thought that I would have another baby. No one knows the pain of losing a child unless you have gone through it yourself. I was in such a dark place that I never thought that I would recover from such a devastating lost. Now one year later, I can happily say that I am blessed with two new bundles of joy- Mateo John and Mathieu Kaleb. They were born September 24, 2008 weighing 2 pounds 10 ounces and 2 pounds 6 ounces. They were in the hospital for about six weeks and came home the first week in December. This is my forst blog so I will be posting pics soon! Keeley
